The Alberta government has extended the application deadline for its $100 Alberta Energy Rebate to Oct. 31, giving eligible residents who missed the original cutoff more time to apply, the province said Thursday.

The Government of Alberta said in a post on X that the extension "gives Albertans who have not yet applied more time to submit their applications for the one-time direct payment of $100."

Applications can be submitted at alberta.ca/alberta-energy-rebate.
