Medicine Hat city council will reconvene a public hearing on the proposed rezoning of 22 Sierra Green SW on Oct. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, after voting at its Oct. 5 regular meeting to recess the session, the City of Medicine Hat said in a notice published Thursday.

The hearing concerns Bylaw 4890-2026, which would rezone the Sierra Green SW property. The original hearing was opened as scheduled before council passed a resolution to recess it.

Because the Oct. 19 session is a reconvening of the original hearing and not a new one, no additional written submissions or public representations will be accepted. Council will consider only information and submissions received before the original hearing's close of submissions, along with any presentations made before the recess.

All submissions already received remain part of the public record and will be considered by council when the hearing concludes.
