The Medicine Hat Tigers sent forward Cam Parr to the Vancouver Giants on Friday in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2027 and a fourth-round pick in 2030, the club said in a news release.

Parr, a 20-year-old left-winger from La Salle, Man., stands five-foot-10 and has played 270 games in the Western Hockey League across his career, according to Flashscore. He put up 59 points — 19 goals and 40 assists — over that span.

Parr spent three seasons with the Spokane Chiefs before the Tigers acquired him in a trade in September 2025. He appeared in 77 games for Medicine Hat in 2025-26, recording seven goals and 16 assists for 23 points.

The Tigers noted Parr made an immediate impression after arriving in Medicine Hat. In the first round of the 2026 playoffs, he scored the overtime winner in Game 5 to close out the Regina Pats.

The WHL said in a separate release that Parr also brings playoff experience from his time in Spokane, where he put up five points in 20 games to help the Chiefs reach the 2025 WHL Championship Series. Spokane fell to Medicine Hat in five games in that series.

Parr has appeared in three games for the Tigers so far in the 2026-27 season, scoring one goal.
