The Redcliff Cypress Regional Landfill is closed Friday because of high winds, Cypress County said in a Facebook post on Friday.

"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding," the county wrote. "Please stay safe in these windy conditions."

The county did not give a reopening time. No further information was available in the post.
