The Redcliff Municipal Campground will close for the season on Monday, Oct. 12, the Thanksgiving holiday, the Town of Redcliff said.

The town announced the closure in a notice posted to its website Thursday. “Thank you to everyone who camped with us this season, and we can’t wait to see everyone again!” the notice said. It did not give a date for next year’s opening.

The campground, at 305 Broadway Ave. W., has 16 serviced sites, each with a picnic table and fire pit, according to the town’s parks and recreation page. Four are 50-amp pull-through sites for RVs and 12 are 30-amp sites for RVs, trailers and tents. The site also has washrooms, showers and a sewage dump station.

Sites rent for $45 a night. All sites must be reserved before arrival through the online booking service Let’s Camp, and there are no first-come, first-served sites. Stays are limited to 14 consecutive nights.

The town’s page lists the usual season as running from mid-May.
