A cohort of aspiring school leaders from Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools gathered at the Catholic Education Centre in Brooks on Friday for a full day focused on leadership development grounded in Catholic education.

Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools said in a Facebook post on Friday that participants explored the Leadership Quality Standard and the Five Marks of an Excellent Catholic Leader during the session.

"Together, participants explored the Leadership Quality Standard, the Five Marks of an Excellent Catholic Leader, and what it means to lead with courage, compassion and clarity," the division wrote.

The division said the day included shared learning and dialogue, with participants working through what leadership looks like within a faith-based school community.

"Through shared learning and dialogue, these aspiring leaders continue to grow in their leadership journeys, grounded in faith and a commitment to Catholic education," the division wrote.

Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools serves students across Brooks and surrounding communities in southeastern Alberta. No further sessions were announced in the post.
