Megan Moroney to play Calgary Stampede 2027

Country singer Megan Moroney will perform at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Tuesday, July 13, 2027, as part of the Calgary Stampede Concert Series presented by Uber Eats, the Calgary Stampede announced Monday.

The show follows Moroney's international headline run, THE CLOUD 9 TOUR, which was built on the success of her sold-out AM I OKAY? TOUR. That earlier tour broke attendance records at multiple venues across the United States.

"Megan Moroney is one of the most exciting artists in country music today, and we're thrilled to add her to the Stampede 2027 lineup," Meghan Kivisto, vice-president of sales, marketing and programming at the Calgary Stampede, said in the release.

"We kicked off Stampede 2027 with the rock 'n' roll of Greta Van Fleet, and now we're adding one of country music's biggest stars to the Calgary Stampede concert lineup," Kivisto said. "Country music and Western spirit go hand in hand, and thousands of Calgarians and visitors from around the world will be singing along together when Megan Moroney takes the stage. That range, from rock 'n' roll to country, is what makes the Calgary Stampede The Greatest Music Festival in the West."

Moroney previously performed at the 2025 Stampede as part of the Cowboys Music Festival.

Moroney's third studio album, Cloud 9, is the basis for her current tour. Her catalogue includes the four-times-platinum No. 1 hit "Tennessee Orange" from her 2023 debut album Lucky, the double-platinum No. 1 title track "Am I Okay?" and the platinum-certified "No Caller ID." Her sophomore album, Am I Okay?, ranked as 2024's third-biggest Billboard 200 debut by a female country artist.

Moroney has accumulated more than 3.9 billion streams worldwide. Her awards include Storyteller of the Year at Variety's Hitmakers celebration, the Rulebreaker Award at Billboard Women in Music, the first-ever Best Country award at the MTV Video Music Awards, New Female Artist of the Year at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards and New Artist of the Year at the 2024 Country Music Association Awards.

The Stampede's concert page notes that Moroney's show is part of the same series that includes Grammy Award-winning rock band Greta Van Fleet, who are scheduled to perform at the Saddledome on Thursday, July 8, 2027.

All ticket purchases include admission to the Calgary Stampede on the day of the concert. Calgary Stampede Insiders can pre-purchase tickets starting Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. MT. General public tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. MT through Ticketmaster.
