The Town of Redcliff will spray weeds at parks and public spaces across town on Thursday, July 30 and Friday, July 31, according to a notice posted by the town. Residents are asked to watch for posted signage in treated areas.
On Thursday, crews are scheduled to hit the Redcliff Aquatic Centre, Town Hall, Memorial Park, Rec-Tangle Arena, the Public Library, the Seniors' Centre, Kipling Park, Rolling Mill Park, NE and NW Parks, Cody Snyder Park, Aggie Oakland Park, Herman Wahl Park, Riverview Park, Birch Court and the Golf Course Triangles.
Friday's route covers the Redcliff Baseball Diamonds, the Municipal Campground, the Soccer Fields, Kipling Point, 9th Avenue near the Municipal Works Shop, East Side Park, River Valley Park, Lions Park, Broadway Ave E, and the green space near Trukkers Restaurant.
It's a long list, which is really just another way of saying: nearly every green space Redcliff residents actually use is getting treated this week. Pet owners and parents of small children who like to graze on dandelions are the ones who'll want to pay closest attention to that posted signage.
The full list of locations and scheduling details is available on the Town of Redcliff's website.
